The relevant Risk Assessment has been completed, and much effort has gone into cleaning and tidying the Hut, including packing excess items away and including closing off the book cases and blanket boxes.
Advance Booking is absolutely essential.
Only a member of the AC or ABMSAC, and their “household” or “support bubble” can apply.
To request a booking, go to http://george-starkey-hut.com . Go to ‘Booking’ | ‘Login’ (or ‘Register’)
Then go to ‘Booking’ | ‘Members’ and complete the Booking Request form.
Please wait for email confirmation, or otherwise, and how to pay, from the Hut Booking Secretary.
The data included in the booking form will be stored electronically and viewed by the Hut Booking Secretaries
Only one “Household” (or “Support bubble” will be permitted at any one time.
You should not apply if feeling at all ill, or if suffering any symptoms of Covid-19.

The Hut will be available for weekends or long weekends only, leaving 72 hours between visitors, to allow any C-19 risk to be absolutely minimal. HOWEVER: Please be aware that the Hut Warden and possible service personnel (plumbers, electricians etc.) may have entered the Hut at any time, and you must accept that we cannot guarantee that the Hut is C-19 free.

THERE MUST BE NO ENTRY TO THE HUT WITHOUT AN OVERNIGHT BOOKING
PLEASE DO NOT try to ENTER without a confirmed booking. The Key Code will be changed frequently.
DO NOT ENTER EVEN IF USING THE CAR PARK AS A DAY VISITOR.
This is to preserve our safety period of 72 hours between hut visitors, and the Committee will take a very serious view of anyone found breaking this rule.
Use of the car park should also be requested in advance so the Hut Warden can be made
aware of who is around, and not confuse you with a tourist chancing their luck.

There is now a new Key Safe on the door, and the code has been changed, and will continue to be changed frequently for the near future at least.
(Those members who wish to book beds will receive further information about disinfecting
etc., and info around the fact that there is no bin collection at the moment.)
